Well have studied again for the assembly of the chassis. Photos show the front 1/2 of Engine's chassis. I used clamps w/a SS ruler, to insure as straight a cut I can get for the side pieces. Each side is made up of a right and a left, of which you are instructed to laminate to 0,5 mm card of which you will have a 1.0 mm thick side piece when done. I am going to just laminate to a 1.0 mm piece of black card stock I ordered from PMS.
It took me awhile to figure out what you were to do, to put this part of the frame together. Then you will do it all over again to build a 2nd 1/2 f/the rear of the Engine. Hopefully, when you see them again, they will make up the front frame.

In the 2nd photo, front bumper continues.

That IS a good trick. I hate those long straight cuts.

Hello Friends, has been awhile since I have posted. I took a break from modeling for awhile, just got tired of it. But have a renewed interest to continue work on the E92. Back during my last post of this build I was prepairing the parts of the chassis and it was trying some differant materials for this......did not work as I hoped. So now, go with what was designed for the model, thick cardboard. Will start cutting parts and post some photos soon. Hope all are well and I see many friends still posting wonderful builds.

Got everything back in place and only missing a small piece, I can remake it pretty easy, everything else is all there. Will resume on the front end of the chassis. Had to study the diagrams again to get back into the focus of what goes where on this Big Engine.

By the way, it is a very interesting model because every single page is - doubled. It looks like a binding error. :-))))) But it's not.

Yes, I went to the site and the one shown as completed is most impressive. Have you started your build yet?
