Smile Micromodels LNER Super Pacific

Built up another Micromodel kit. This one is the LNER Super Pacific (really A1/1).

Unfortunately, the model came with a defect of the undercarriage being a bit too tall, so I managed to solve this, as you will see in the photos.

Nice work on this classic locomotive. And useful information for anyone else who builds one.

Again super!

Are you using the original kits or have you reprinted?

If you have reprinted, what thickness paper/card?

They are the original cards. If one were to reprint them, they are thicker than normal printer paper is all I can say. Nice glossy finish, too.

Thanks!

Thought so - they have that solid look!

I tend to copy mine, but the card (even if the same thinkness) never seems right - something also to do with the density too as well I think.
