Deadwood SD Depot N Gauge

This is a scratch built N Gauge Model of the Deadwood South Dakota Train Depot from a Sketchup Model. This was made for a friend of mine who is into Railroading. It was built on a base of Balsa so he could easily handle it.

I found it quite interesting the amount of detail that goes into this hobby.

Mike, that is a wonderful build and you did it from scratch and in N gauge. Wow is my first word on such a model. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to your model builds. The detail is very good. Thank you, waddy

Very nice looking model. A lot less expensive than those kits you can buy from model railroad stores, too.

And probably a lot more 'fulfilling' to build. I haven't attempted anything of that scale or complexity, but I did the Kiosk Raamsdonksveer from www.vvvgeertruidenberg.nl for my cousin's model railroad. It now resides in the middle of his town square.

I love the look of this station. Very nicely done.

Thanks to all for the kind words, I don't do a lot of architecture but the train depots seem a worthy subject, I have a soft spot for things nostalgic.
