Turbo Generator

Generator steam supply pipe and the ash discharge dropper pipe

Distributor tee with three-way valves

This with knob turned to the left leads to the smoke tubes second to grease heater.
I gave the red because it was not visible on the first two renders.

Can you give a little bit of information on what the manometer measures (steam pressure, boiler pressure, etc.)? Wikipedia says it's a pressure gauge measuring off a column of fluid, but nothing specific about steam engines. Thanks.

This manometer show the pressure of steam in boiler, the working pressure must be equal 16 atm. with this boiler.
Here some usefull stuff about equipment in cabin
http://eng.rzd.ru/steams/pano_mashinist.swf
When pressure is too big the safety valve mounted on top of boiler outside the cabin is automatically opened.

Thank you for your reply. Fascinating information in the link. Driving a train must have been a complicated job indeed.

Welcome
Well, I managed to do some modifications, I decided to go back to modify elements that have already done some time ago. These are headlights that I replace on the old type, and the smoke box door that had previously been flat.
I wanted to make a steam loco version which was used in the MD Karsznice in years 1953-1957 so modifications are necessery.

Welcome

I made a bracket for manometers of cylinders and brake.
Slowly comes more and more accessories

Stoker manometers. They will be mounted when I make all components of stoker mechanism

Anyone have drawings of Stoker Standard HT mechanism. This loco was based on american locomotives so any drawings will be useful.

Welcome

Time to refresh the thread on the drawing board hit another accessory components of the boiler
Feel free to watch.
The first one is the triple valve dropper serve to apply water separately to smokebox, the ashpan and coal. The water goes through the three-way valve from bottom of the water pump. In this locomotive from the two injectors separately.

Test cock

As a rule a set of three taps assay, placed at different heights, so that the lowest of them is situated at the lowest permissible water level in the boiler. If it is open, it should always flowing water. From the highest tap should emit steam while the central water or steam.

Water gauge

As the name implies, this device operating on the principle of connected vessels is used to determine the amount of water in the boiler space. Used two independent water gauge. Typical water gauge consists of a glass tube (glass or Klinger arranged in the hull) connected to the top of the steam boiler and the bottom of the space wodną.Po both sides are cocks in the event of excessive pressure which may damage the tube, or glass. At each gage contains also the lowest water level.

[B] Popp-Coale safety system[/ B]

The function of this valve is based on the principle when the steam engine is no traffic the steam is still produced and increases the pressure in the boiler. The boiler as you know has its strength and to avoid any damage or explosion these valves come with help. When the pressure rises above a predetermined nominal values for the strength of the boiler the upper part of the valve disc bounces and releases excess steam.

Enjoy
