PX-29 Modelik

Hi everybody,
here are some pics of my PX-29 by Modelik. I just joined this forum a week ago so there are no pics during the building process. The Modelik kits are a joy to build. Everything fits together perfectPX-29 Modelik-dsc06652.jpg

PX-29 Modelik-dsc06662.jpgly. I did quite some painting on this engine but you could also build her as is (with some edge coloring). Bending the wire for the handrails and all the plumbing is a bit tricky.Especially attaching it without damaging other fragile parts.
Next step will be building some tracks for her and then on to my next project. Maybe the PX-4 by Angraf. I just love those narrow gauge trains.

Best, Hans

Oh, that's pretty. Making me want to dig out the one I have. Most focus and finish at least one already on the desk first.

Excellent - that is a beautiful build Hans. Thanks for sharing. I hope you are able to share your build process with us next next time. You are obviously a very skilled builder.

Thanks for your kind comments. All the black, red and gray parts are painted. Also, the domes and wire parts needed some green paint. The whole model is clear coated with matte acrylic.

Hans

Good looking build, it is in my filing cabinet ( along with others I will probably never get to). I always see a great build thread and say "I am going to build that next..........then the next great build thread comes along and................

Great looking train...........I am going to build that one next..........:p

The Modelik 1/25 scale narrow gauge engines are a joy to build, just like Hans says. The ones by Jan Kolodiej are the best. I am just finishing up the Freudenstein. A very fine job indeed!
