Thanks, anyway, I've learned my lesson on this part... before proceeding I'll scan every page left. I hope that's not against this forum's regulations, since it's for my own use.

As long as it's for your own personal use, and it stays that way, no sharing, scanning is not a problem.

Just a little progress on the Cn2t ; the second dome (sand) has been fabricated, as well as a part for a next installment on the kettle of which I don't know the function yet.
I have also put some paint on the chimney and the first dome to see if they look acceptable to me.

Awesome looking great. You probably meant the thingy behind the sand dome? those are the safety valves. They pop open when steam pressure gets too high (preventing a boiler explosion) They are simple spring operated devices.

Hi
Nice looking little steam baby. It's a 3 axle polish version of german "Riesa". Only one is in Rudy Raciborskie and still running after repair in 2011 as a lokal tourist attraction in Museum. |

Hello Dan
I just discovered this thread. A fantastic machine you have there. Very clean and precise craftsmanship. I'll be following along. |

Great-looking model. The more you complete the better it looks. Your abilities are remarkable. Looking forward to seeing the completed engine.

Thanks gentlemen.
I was going to do some serious work on the engine today, but my eyes got tired (I've had the early shift today) and instead of messing things up beyond repair I decided to call it a day after just one piece. On both sides of the boiler, there is some kind of tap (I don't suppose it's for Vodka or beer though), and I managed to, at least, make one of them. They were a bit harder than I antecipated because of the size. For size comparison I've place a toothpick against the boiler. Tomorrow I'll try to make the one on the other side.

Lol nice work. That thingy just delivers water from the side tanks into the boiler.
