You can also use this trick to print on sticky notes.
Great looking model, and a great printing tip!!!

That is one great build. Have you sent a pic of your tower to the Miecznikowski brothers? I'll bet they'd like to see it.
Your cigarette paper is a great trick. White tissue paper works well also.
I am very familiar with the water tower, I have built it in V scale since I am a Train simmer. The 2 stall engine house is under construction.
Thanks for posting, it is always interesting to see other builds. John

Haven't heard of V scale before. What does it stand for - Virtual Reality?

Excellent model!

Don, do you recall Bruce Openshaw? I think he was another G&D operator during that same time. He shared some great stores about the legendary John Allen and his masterpiece.

I'd love to see a virtual reality Gorre & Daphetid where viewers can enjoy the scenery as they travel along the right of way.

That would be something I'd sign up for in a heartbeat. Traveling along a VR Gorre & Daphetid would be awesome. It would have to be a labor of love to undertake such a thing. I imagine it would take many hours to construct such a wonder.
