The Adler actually builds up pretty nice, though I did make some changes.

»ADLER« (Schreiber Bogen) 1/20 scale

... good evening,

no question that I will purchase that »ADLER« angraf-model as soon as it
will be available in Germany. Meanwihle I feel free to draw your attention to the
»Adler« train cardmodel published by J.F.Schreiber in 1985/1986.
I had the pleasure having been the designer of that model in 1985.
The picture attached to this post was taken from the test-assembly made
from the proof print ... assembled in 75 hours ...
What happended to the test model ... no idea ....

The Schreiber cardmodel of the »Adler« itself is quite straight forward.
... and it is nice to see that my design seemed to be OK for the last 30 years.
I'm looking foward to the angraf kit to compare it with mine and to see
what progress had been made ...

cheers
Thomas

»ADLER« (Schreiber Bogen) 1/20 scale

As I said before I did not know what happened to the test assembly of the »ADLER« cardmodel
designed by me and published by J.F. Schreiber. What indeed is a pity, because
the lack of detailed documentation in terms of pictures became a disadvantage for my records.
So I was happy to find some pictures of an assembly of that model made some
20 years ago. (The pictures were taken in early 2014). Please recognize that
there is only very little dust and/or »patina« on the model. The cardmodeler which
assembled the model and took the pictures gave permission to post his
pictures here - for your (and my) pleasure ... so: thank you Maximilian!

cheers
Thomas
