Traction Engine or Narrow Guage Loco

Hello All,

I have seen that there is a lack of scale models of Traction Engines and Narrow Guage Locomotives as card models. Modelik offer various european locomotives but there are no British ones available so far.

Does anyone fancy tackling a Hunslet Narrow Guage 0-4-0 loco or a Burrell Tractrion Engine maybe?

Harrison Edge produced a beautiful Traction engine model in their Showcase series back in the '70s but nothigs been done since of the same scale. The Micro Models are too small for me.

Sincerely

Tom

There is a model of a Fowler traction engine available:

Think it was 1:50 scale, free too

Hey Tom,
agree with you on the need for more Traction, British and American. Was lucky enough to recently get the Showcase model from another poster here. A bit generic, but still nice. Looks roughly 1/16 scale and based off a Burrell. The Fowler Tim mentions is a nice little model also. I have one of the old KeilKraft plastic 1/72 Fowler Z7 that I've been looking at in using as a base to scale up to 1/25. But at my building rate that'll be lucky to be this decade.
