Prudenziati Tank Car
Seeing Darwin's excellent work on the Snowplow, reminded me of this model that I had stashed away in a cabinet. It was a beta build for Dewaye Barnett when he was selling these. From what I remember it went together with no problems, and is one of my favorites in the ones that I have kept.
Mounted on a section of HO track that I got from a local hobby store dealing in trains. This was epoxied down to a piece of "FoamCor" <sp>, with bits of added ground cover from my spares box. The only change I made, was adding clear acetate for the windows. Blending and weathering was done with pastel chalks.. I sprayed a few light coats of Future over the whole scene, to blend everything together. Photos show the four sides, and the bottom. |

What is the current status of Zio Prudenziati? I seem to recall hearing that he was ill and there haven't been any new models at his site for some time.

Thanks, Peter. In any event, you have done a superb job on the unusual railway wagon and the little diorama. Well done and thanks for letting us see it.
