More progress. Fit has degraded to fair and placement of parts requires more thought overall. The side and rear panels of the cab take considerable thought and planning to get proper placement and look.
The side and front skirt assembly requires surgery of the laminated structural pieces for proper fit. The side pieces themselves had to be cut into three parts due to the bends involved. Greg

Very little progress to report:
The frame work for the running gear has been built up. No issues to report here. And the axles have been started. looks like some modifications to the wheels will be in order based on the axle diameter needed vs the axle hole cut out marked on the wheels. More on this later when I get to it. Oh and one of my distractions that kept me away from the workbench was attending a pipe show in Chicago where I scored a pipe my friend made and brought to the show. This is an Authentic handmade briar wood copperhead pipe from the workshop of Warner Pipes. Now, I never smoked anything (intentionally) in my life. But I may at least try this one out once... greg

Nice looking pipe. Makes my mouth water!
Used to smoke a pipe a lot - until I gave up smoking a decade ago. Still have most of my pipes, including a Dunhill estate pipe. Estate pipes are always a good buy!

Made a fair amount of progress since my last post.
Wheels are mounted to the axle and I forgot to take a picture of the mod I needed to make to the wheel fit right. The wheel discs have a 1 mm mark for an axle, however the wheel has to fit onto the axle and not on the end of it. Since the axle is 5 mm in diameter, the hole needed is also 5 mm. The spoke lengths also support this need. The wheels also need to be properly oriented for the running gear. I had to study the pictures carefully for this. The drive cylinders and piston guide bracketry built up easily with just a little trimming of extra material off the rear vertical mounting posts. Anyway here are some pictures to get you updated. greg

Thanks Guys!
In regards to the pipe: If you covet it enough to pursue acquiring your own, My friend has a page on facebook and also an etsy shop. Just look for warner pipes in either. He just put up a couple new ones for sale including a really killer aluminum top one. OK, advert finished back to our regularly scheduled program... greg
