Thanks for the clarification!!
I chose the solution represented by me after seeing the few photos available and the design that I am attaching.
Here you see the bucket (C) in the retracted position and in the advanced position. I think this is manually moved.
On the binary "1" run the winch that brings the bullet on the bucket.The rammer "R" is moved by the handwheel "S" which acts on the chain shown in the section.
What I have not yet understood is how the handwheel was connected,



but I think as in the attached diagram.
Billy, thanks for the suggestion but I have not managed to understand
the entire written.

E63, WOW. What a build. I have a copy of the Leopold and watching your build has me looking at it for this winters project. Looking forward to more of this most excellent build or should I say major undertaking.
