Need help with Russian train engine

Do someone know the type of engine that Russian Locomotive #293 is? And also is it made as a card model?

This is picture of said Locomotive on display in Finland Station today.

I have idea to make a scenery with this if I may find the model in the proper size.

It's apparently actually a Finnish locomotive. Wood fired 2-8-0. Strangely enough, there is a sister locomotive 418 on display in Junction City, Oregon. Gifts from the Finnish govt. to the USA and Russia.

Most likely there aren't any paper models though...

Huh? Seriously, that is a great tie-together. If it is important, I can drive down there in about 40 minutes and take 1000 pictures. I've driven through Junction City about 50 times. Let me know if it is important. Really no big deal to get down there but it is out of my circle of laziness.

Can you explain why you are interested? I don't need justification but I am always interested in the personal linkages.

My interest is that well aside from not many models of Ukrainan subjects, I like thing of hisoric significance. So I will look to the days of Russia and the Soviet Union of which we were a part of. There is so many models of Fascist subject (of course I build a Messerschmitt my self).

I find in a hobby store here a box of models of Lenin and Stalin from the Russian Revolution. It is in 1/72 scale. So I think ok I can buy a card model of the armor car Lenin stood atop and then I think perhaps they make Finland Station or the Locomotive...

I think this would be a great project, and even more so because your interest in the subjects that involve Russian/Soviet history. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with..

Hello comrades!
If anyone is interested in drawings and technical/historical description (in Russian) of "293" - here they are Паровоз №293 Well, You can use Babelfish for translation.

Drawings for printing are in the botton of the page - use link Чертежи для печати

If i remember correctly, the "293" was manufactured at Lokomo Locomotive Works (now part of Metso Minerals) in Tampere, Finland.

Good luck!
