Very good model coming up! I wish I could buy laser cut parts too, but 24$ is a steep price for me in India, and even more when I add the shipping!

jhaparth2006 I am sorry that you can't buy it cheaper. I do not know how much cost the model completely. But it is not the cheap one. Have you tried to find it on ebay for example? Shipping to your country about 5€(what i've found). Not so much...
I thing that the part of locomotive, which is under the cabin is bit poor. I tried to tune it up. This is one of few steps to get it nicer from my point of view. |

Why not give a short tutorial on what you did for the tune-up underneath the engine cab? The pictures you posted got my attention and I would be most interested in seeing what else you did.

You right Elliott. The last leaf spring ends a blind rod, or how to call it. I made a suspension sistem from the 3rd big wheel to the small one under a cabin. The post from Draccus is very helpful. And Ol49 this site with plans of many locomotives and tenders. Just an inspiracion. I usd photos from other forums un this reply. In one You can see ther original model with the part under te cabin. No nuts, no rivets, no suspension. The sacond one is with a most every nut like on an original locomotive
