Wow..One of the most beautiful locomotives ever. Maybe the most beautiful one. I look forward to all the versions which You will make. 1/25 would be very interesting and i can imagine it in my show-case. But it's more than clear, that a producing a model this size is very complicated. Thank you for the posts

Fortunately, the connecting rods on this locomotive are a lot simpler than those on many German locs. First version of the superstructure in the background.
The streamlining 'skirts' (officially called valances) will be added to the model as options. They were used for the speed trials, but were soon removed: they made regular oiling of far too complicated...

Sir Nigel Greisley locomotive

Hello Diderick,

I would like to thank you and your designer for taking the trouble to produce a model of this Iconic Locomotive, please put me down for one.

I have found that there are too few British locomotive models available and I feel that this area has been neglected in Railway Builds.

Sincerely

Tom

Okay, it is about time to add my two cents to the discussion. I only had to take a look at some photos I took a few years ago at the North York Moors Railway. Other shape of the streamline cover looks very good. I don't think my building skills are good enough to do a model like this justice, on the other hand, it is quite likely that I will buy one as soon as it is available.

Hi Diderick,
Looks like the design is coming along nicely, I can hardly wait! Hope you got my email reserving one of these. I really do hope you will offer a download version.

Bob
