Thanks! Here are a couple that I took outside for better lighting. Had to leave the case on so they wouldn't blow over

Thank you for the positive comments! I decided that I should have some form of rolling stock to go with these little locomotives so here's caboose #9. I actually was privileged enough to ride inside of this caboose on a morning Snyder run during the late '70s. It's been converted into a cabin for a "Bed and Breakfast" in Iowa
I actually stretched the RXR caboose to fit the '40 flat car instead of the '30 foot flat car as intended. I really like RXR's modular kit platform in general but i think using the flat car as designed puts the trucks too far out towards the ends of the car. |

Great job, I love the caboose. What program are you using for your re-paints?
Gary

I'm using Photoshop CS6 for now because it's what I'm used to. I haven't quite mastered Illustrator yet. They also had a box car painted in the same colors but I don't ever recall actually seeing it. I am doing a repaint of one of their more plain looking box cars to add next.

The third one is what I had in mind. I saw more F7s of that coloring for ATSF around here than any other.

I re-did the F unit using Inkscape, so it's vectorized. I was planning a re-paint of the old CPR maroon and grey.
Love the boxcar too! You're building a nice railroad. Great job. Gary

Coming along nicely! Nice clean builds!
You mention the risk of models "blowing over". What I do with some of mine (that have a flat base) is stick a coin on for a bit of stability....,
