A bit of progress. It's been a bit busy since my last posting. Moved from Placerville CA to my place in Idaho Falls...new wife, two dogs, two hamsters, and a Coleman cooler full of tropical fish. Started physical therapy for my spinal stenosis. Trying to convert my bachelor pad to married quarters again...at least my good wife didn't run away screaming when she saw the place. So far no problems with the build...all parts have fit perfectly. To tell the truth, I'm getting a bit tired of cutting railings. Only a few more of those to go. The gun barrel had me wondering a bit how to tame, but then I thought 'corn dog.' I assembled the various bits on a bamboo skewer, and left it in place to give the barrel some strength. I colored the end of the skewer red, so it looks like a tampon. Here are a few pics....the trusty old Canon came back to life, so have finally been able to take some clear closeups.

For some reason, I was unable to add the photos as attachments. Every attempt to upload the pics failed. So, although a major pain in the sitdown, I loaded them into my Facebook album and inserted the urls into the post. Very frustrating....I hope you will be able to see them.

Can't access photos using links. May be a privacy setting thing

Facebook wants me to be part of its zombie army before it will let me see the images.

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I have not had good experience with the photo sharing sites I've tried. I reduced the size of the jpeg photos down to 640 pixels wide, even converted on to a gif, and nothing works when I attempt attaching them. I've never had this kind of problem before with papermodelers...any ideas out there? Maybe an administrative issue?

I think you need an administrator to have a look - you didn't have a problem posting pics before...

Contact one....!

The Admins have been made aware of the problem.
I tried and my uploads into the thread failed also.
There are some who can post the url to a photo hosting
site (such as photobucket) and it does show the pics in the post.

I have provided information to Jason about it.

Kevin, Ray, thanks for the response. I contacted Rick last night, and he is passing the problem onto the site's host for resolution.

Glad the issue is solved - and I really wanted to see the photos!

And wow, is this a great build! Excellent! Rapid progress too!

Keep it up, and I look forward to more....
