Ah, the last link works just fine. Enjoyed watching the video but couldn't pick out how you control your trains Becky. Do they each run on a dedicated loop? And you're running 2 trains right?

I'm running the O gauge Santa Fe and Disneyland Railroad (had to slip in the fancy name ) with an MTH starter set power supply. Over on the far, far right of the layout I have an MTH infrared track lock-on hot wired to a standard Lionel lock-on. I control the train with a small I.R. remote control. And there's just one: a Lionel Lone Ranger General pulling 3 Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe baggage cars. The only other thing that can move by itself is the battery powered Monorail.

But....I've spent the day doing stop motion animation!

And presents to open are kept in another room, I hope.

I lost my model railroad to my cousin's sons (mom thought it would be okay for them to play with it). My son's 8-lane race track was lost to another cousin losing his balance while playing pool, destroying 60% of the track.

Do you have an electric fence around this?

Those are some very entertaining videos. The stop motion of the people enjoying their visit is a nice touch.

Yes, I stack the presents in the room with the prewar layout! Nope, the fence isn't electrified.

Thanks! Only the steam train and the Monorail can move under their own power. I drove the tram, spun the Astro Orbitor, piloted the Jungle Cruise launch, drove the blue Autopia car and spun Dumbo a one frame at a time. It was fun and turned out a lot better than I expected!
