N/G locos and stock

Sebastian Kiszka has kindly allowed me to host his narrow gauge locos and rolling stock on my site as well. I have put some of them in the downloads section here, but I am adding a lot more on TransportPaperModels.
It will take me a long time to get them all up, so be patient!

Those look quite wonderful. I will try to enlarge those to 1/2 inch scale. This should take quite a while.

Hmmmm. That's an increase of 362.5%, isn't it? (1/87th to 1/24th?) Don't know if the detail might suffer a bit. Let me know how it goes, please.

I messed around with the 2WLs50-2088 (Rudy) file and increased it by 363% then layed out the parts on three 11X17 pages. The details do not seem to be degraded much to my eye, but I do not know what level of detail is wanted or needed.

If you want and can get permission from the designer I can post the page with the instruction diagram and the main body of the loco with the registration number on the side. A 704 KB png.

I'd be glad if you could send me a copy of that - see my site for the email.
Cheers.

I would appreciate this too. Email would be fine. There is a pretty good sized group building small locos and cars to GN15 (1/2 inch scale on HO track)

Oh. Never heard of that scale before. For those who also don't know it either, it uses HO/OO track (16.5mm gauge) to represent 15-inch gauge miniature railways.

If the locos on the 15-inch track are scale models of the real thing, then their scale is approximately 1/3rd. Take that down to 16.5mm gauge, and that gives you a scale of app. 1/23rd (1/24th is near enough)

Okay - I'll have a go at scaling the models to that size. I'll let you know how I get on. I still tend to use A4 as a paper size, as not many people can print onto A3 photo paper, so that will limit what I can do.

That's a seriously "narrow" gauge.

15" gauge is and was common in industry and tourist RR. There still are a number of them working today, particualrly in Britain and Europe.
