Hello everybody ,

Now it goes to the roof ... where the base plate is fixed on a glass to avoid distortion.
I glue strips of paper to the frames. The two roof parts are glued on 80 grams of paper and well pre-grounded.
Starting from the outside, gluing the strips ... so that they fit together well.

Kind regards
Kurt

This looks difficult to shape properly – good work!

Thank you Marcin

Hello everybody ,

Now stick to the frame of scaffold ... and to dry in the press.

The parts for the roof cladding / The frame glued to the roof ...

.. preform the first cover with the black edge down ... and glue it on one side. Thus, this results in about 2 mm shortened in length must be.

Best regards
Kurt

Hello Yeti ,

Thank you

and now letīs go on ...

After the second cover, the colonel follows. This has made the roof very stable.
Glue parts 35 to 0.9 mm Finn cardboard and parts 36 edges to dye in series.

In order to achieve a slight increase in the lid, I reinforced again with 0.5 mm, now glue on the roof.

Every second pair is connected to the parts 105.

Best regards
Kurt

Thank you Elliott

Hello everybody

Again many parts in the insulators. In addition to the brackets for the insulators I glue the reinforced catwalks on the roof ...
... before the insulators are assembled themselves. The wiring according to template with 1.5 mm flower wire and 0.5 mm copper wire assembled ...
... and positioned.

Best regards
Kurt

Hello ,

In between, the track bed is now being prepared. The basis is a 3 mm Finn cardboard, on it twice tapered 2.5 mm gray cardboard.

Cover the whole thing with clay cardboard in gray.

Using stencil I glue the sleepers out of 4x4 mm wooden strips.

After the staining of the thresholds, the track is built by means of a template. From 1,2 mm carton glue first the 2 mm wide lower part.

Best regards
Kurt

Hello, it continues ...

The middle part (1.5 mm) is glued edgewise. The upper end is again a 1.5 mm wide cardboard strip, this time again glued crosswise.

Now the mounting of the rails with about 500 small parts. Now dyed with water color ...

... and first test drive ... the bogies! This also exceeds the 100 hours of construction.

Best regards
Kurt

Looks like a perfect fit between the rail gauge and the bogies Kurt. Nice work!
