Tram Highgate Gripper Car
A little model of the Highgate Gripper Car and trailer from about 1895. This was a very small system covering only about 6 miles, it was converted to overhead current collection in 1909.

airdave, it is a kit from Tramway and Light Railway Society in the UK, go to tram info for the site. After payment of 3 UK Pounds the PDF is sent for downloading and printing. It is a kit designed by Pete Watson, there is a lot to choose from, tram builders should have a field day.
