[GPM],armored train Zygmunt Powstaniec, Poland, 1921.

From 1919 onwards, Poland attempted to gain control of the rich, predominantly German-speaking Silesia.
It finally succeeded in July 1921, thanks to the third miners' uprising, backed by the considerable support of several armored trains, including the PP14 Zygmunt Powstaniec, whose assembly I present to you, and the support of France.
Polish GPM paper model, 1:87 scale.
The sheets are scanned, reduced to 1/220 scale, printed and sprayed with protective satin acrylic varnish.
Wheels and chassis will be supplied by used Märklin wagons duly butchered.
A Rokuhan engine chassis is planned for the loco.
I start with the artillery wagon, armed with a 65mm French mountain gun.

That's one thing I've never seen before. Rolling paper armored train on some kind of diorama would be one of a kind sight. Long time ago I've seen rolling model of armored train but it was build on much larger kids train (I think3-4 cm track width?) and build in wood. It only had locomotive and two cars but was very convincing. Carry on Jan. Good to see you again.

Thank you very much!

Continued with the machine-gun wagon, armed with 4 machine guns on ball-and-socket joints in the corners.

Once upon a time I built one wagon of the train "Pieron" ("Thunder") with a cannon on the top of an original TT (1/120) platform according to the old TBU series, volume No. 71. I don't know why they show a drawing of the PP "Pieron" in the volume concerning another train. It was glued of paper and colored with crayons and temperas... An early memory...

Thank you for your memory.
I think that Pieron PP3 and Zygmunt Powstaniec are two armoured train of the same war, the third silesian rising in 1921. See:

Sorry. Not much paper for this post (except for the bogie shielding). The protection wagon (2, at the front and rear of the train, it transports equipment to repair destroyed tracks including rails and it is used to absorb a possible explosion by sabotage as the train passes). I used a Märklin wagon that I shortened.
