Millimodels

I have just put some back on eBay, for those who wondered what had happened to them.

I am still wondering if anyone would be interested in versions of the locos at another scale, perhaps 1/100 or 1/76. I would probably print these on a gloss finish card as they seem to look better that way at those scales.

I am quite happy with the current scale - it fits with the Micromodels better!

But that's just me - hopefully you will get takers in the other scales as well!

The models on Ebay.co.uk .....

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...odels&_sacat=0

I have just ordered some and would like to thank Robin for his assistance and follow-up with the order. Great service and communication, and rapid despatch. A friend will be bringing them from the UK and they are already in his possession - so I will get them when he comes here in a few days

Many thanks Robin!

I have just listed a new design on eBay for the first time.

It is a South Eastern & Chatham Railway Wainwright H class 0-4-4T and an "A" birdcage three coach set.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264732061...84.m1555.l2649

"And about time too" some will say, it has been 5 years since the last one!

I have made the coaches a bit more complicated and detailed this time i the underframes and bits and pieces.

Test build process to follow.

Wonderful news Robin.

Unfortunately any purchase from my side is ruled out - probably for a long time, as our postal system is no longer functioning. I am sure you will have good UK sales though, which is where the bulk of your market is?

Yes, just over 2/3 of customers are from the UK, though I suppose the subjects may have someting to do with that.

The next set should be a companion SE&CR goods train, but I have not got very far with it yet. I think that I have all the information I need ready for drawing it up.

I had gone for the ornate Wainwright livery, hoping that the printer will do a sufficiently accurate job and I think it works OK. It is worth looking up the Wainwright "D" in the National collection in York to see just how special it could appear.

Here is a view of the test build, about 12 inches long.

Very nice looking model Robin. And those coaches are certainly attractive.

I have been having problems for some time with updating my website. I had neglected it for quite a while and had to use another web design program to try and update it and had got into a mess.

All things considered I decided to start from scratch with a new website and it is now up and running, though not all the pages are yet populated. It should be much easier for me to manage and add extra information and also looks better on mobile phones etc. It should be up to date in the next couple of days, and then I shall be adding extra content.

The old .co.uk site will remain up for the time being but the new one is: https://www.millimodels.com/

Wonderful news, Robin!

I like the Robinson 9K class in particular - it strongly reminds me of the Japanese 1070 class.
