Where's the Caboose?

I know it's there somewhere...
I've been searching high and low for a paper model of an AT&SF caboose.
Anyone have a clue as to where it's hiding?

Thanks in advance;
panzerlite

Can you modify the RXR caboose?

It may not be there anymore (wherever it is) - BNSF demand that anything related to them or names/former names, be removed. I know this sounds ridiculous but it is a fact. They will also not allow any of the names to be used outside the USA.

Arrrg...
I can go down to my local hobby shop and buy a HO scale caboose with a SF logo on the side. If it's a licensing issue I can understand that... and would pay the incurred royalty cost.

I was just thinking that you railroad guys would know where I could find a caboose that looks like the AT&SF. (you know... wooden sides, rounded roof, cupola facing to the rear...?)

Sorry - I thought you were referring to something you've seen.

A caboose that looks like....

I have looked through all my models and downloads. Nope. Cannot find anything. And I cannot recall having seen one out there - would have grabbed it if I had. But maybe there is something...

If you want something similar, it should be easy to mod a boxcar maybe.

There is a model designed by Robert Kaelin from 20 years or so ago of a Pennsylvania Railroad N6B cabin car/caboose. It is a bit hard to find but a sale pops up on Ebay once in a blue moon.

I'll keep an eye out for it... (what a disturbing phrase...)

Thanks...

Someone on Ebay is selling a copy of the PRR’s N6B “Mae West” caboose:

The models at RXRmodels.com look decent. A few add-ons and might make a very nice display. Maybe buy a pair of HO trucks and piece of snap track to set them on. Easy enough to turn them inside out and put on your own colors.
