Hi ZAX glad to see this model being made, will follow, I see you are starting with the wheels, always the most difficult part of a steam loco, but the 2 you have made look very good, best of luck.

Thanx, as with other models, I started with works that I do not like very much - with wheels. Next it will be better...
The model is a reminder of 90 birthday of Mr. Vyskovsky, here are some other models from Mr. Vyskovsky from other modelers :

Slowly, I have finished all the wheels on the locomotive and frame. I made a new springs. I added rivets to the frame...a few photos:

Model is coming together nicely. Wonder what pigments in 1838 made that bright green paint on the real one?

There were several green pigments available by 1800, the only problem was most of them were based on arsenic containing compounds.

Wow very nice looking model! Steam locomotives and steam engines are some of my favorite subjects.
