Polish Tram

I have had this tram in my box for a few years and decided to build it about six months ago, one of those project that just will not get off the ground.
I think it is Polish and the scale is about 1:25

For one which had resisted getting off the ground it built up quite nicely. Colors and open sides make it look bright and welcoming.

That's a great model Owen, was it from a download or a printed kit?

Fantastic work!

And now will be the best part. Something totally unexpected for most of you I guess...
Actually this tram is from my city, Olsztyn(Allenstein).
It's from 1907-early 1910s period. Trams in Olsztyn were established in 1907 and they functioned up to 1965. Then the whole system of routes and rails was completely removed. However, in 2015 the tram system was rebuilt, after 50 years.

But going back to the subject, as I already said, the tram you built, Owen, is from 1907-early 1910s period. Back then, Olsztyn's name was Allenstein. It belonged to the East Prussia, a province of the Kingdom of Prussia.

Below there are some photos and postcards from that era.

Not merely an excellent build but also an inspiration to improve one's own efforts. Thank you.
