In fact a prototype of the model is a real Hungarian locomotive of the original class 377 MÁV (Hungarian State Railways) - totally more than 500 items were made since 1885. The model shows a later livery of ČSD (Czechoslovak State Railways) class 310.4; all the rolling stock of the former MÁV left in the territory of Slovakia had been taken over by ČSD in 1919, incl. 53 items of the 310.4. The 310.4s were used for short branch lines and shunting service, the last Czechoslovak one was decommissioned in 1957 and the model of 310.443 shows a preserved locomotive owned by the Railway Museum of the Slovak Republic. And I should not forget that the Austro-Hungarian as well as the later Czechoslovak, Hungarian and Polish armies used the 377s for hauling armoured trains; many of them got their armours during WWI.
