A Tram or two

Good day all paper modelers, pic's of a few trams I recently finished.
Manchester Combination car, called that as it has seating in a closed saloon and open seating behind the motorman station, it is car No 765 built in 1903 by G.F.Milnes to an American design.

The blue double decker is from Bradford, it is a Bradford Standard Tram. It was built by the tram company in their own works at Thornbury during the period 1912 to 1925. The system operated on a 4 foot gauge track which was unusual as most British trams used the 4 foot 8 and a half inch gauge. The trams used Brill 21E a truck with a wheel base of 7 foot. They were all withdrawn and scrapped in 1950 but one did survive, car No 104 and is to be seen at a museum at Moorside Mills in Bradford.

Next we have the Llandudno and Colwyn Bay 1920 bogie open toastrack.
United Electric Car Co built 4 of these trams, they were mounted on English Electric bogies and could seat 60 passengers which was a lot for a single beck car, they remained in service until 1956.

Last we have a white model of German shunt 2-6-0 loco Type T12.

The tram models are available from Tramway and Light Railway Society, go to Tram info to purchase, the loco is free from Bastell-Bogen On Line.De

It seems that Bastel bogen is no longer, the site comes up as for sale

Very nice work and I especially like the open bogie! It looks like the seats could be reversed, depending on the direction of travel. Wonder what happened during a downpour??

Regards,
Erik
