Czech locomotives 1:87

Several Czech locomotives in 1:87 scale were released by Betexa as simple kits.
Let me imagine some.

Wonder what it was which led to that overhanging windshield configuration.
Years ago someone at railpictures.net said but all I can remember is that there was a nickname something like "Jacques Cousteau goggles" for them.

In the Czech Republic, railway employees give nicknames to locomotives. This locomotive carries the untranslatable name Brejlovec.
It means something like a "bulging man in glasses"

locomotive T 201 (Crochat type 22).

Interesting locomotive.
Made in France in 1916. She started to travel in Czechoslovakia in 1928 and ended her active service in 1997!

T 201 sure had a long service life, buyers got their money's worth from it!
It fits the category of what here in US we would call, critters, dinkys, and centercabs; is also a book by the title.
The little industrial and shunting locomotives are interesting.

Think it and Locomotive 742 are my favorites of the models here.
