Thanks beckychestney

Hello, the next struggle at the construction of the tender. I made some new elements like steps on the endcarriage, some brake lines and valves landed in their place. There is a handbrake crank, grease nipples and stiffeners at the door of the coal box. Two layers of target color also went.

Other items in place Brake cylinder, valves, levers, heat pipe and lubrication elements. I also got ladders and brake hoses with valves. At the next stage of construction, there are bogies with the entire braking structure. Probably another update after the weekend

Hello

Another struggle in the construction of the braking system. The next stage is hangers and brake pads. After assembling together with the system of tendons and triangles, the elements land in the frame.

My patent for painting rims. 0.5 mm cardboard box with a rivet hole. On the other side, it is held by pressing the cardboard against the surface. Then 2-3 coats of silver paint. Then, after drying, the contact surface with the rail is rubbed with a pencil with graphite powder obtained from the stylus. Part of the rust pigment and wreaths ready for installation.

Brake system elements on place

The next step is to put the axle boxes on the axles, fit the plugs and put them in the frame. One by one gluing axle locks, springs and that's it

Hello

Beckychestney, David thanks

Modeling work slowed down a bit. While waiting for the decals, I moved back to the drawing board. I am already getting ready to glue the steam locomotive, and thus I need to make files for the lasers and see if there is anything missing on the sheets and instructions.

I would almost forget adding the protective poles on the bogies,: oops: I also made a rag collar between the tender and the steam locomotive. To the next: bye:
