Hello
What is delayed is not lost. It is finally time for me to cut this steam engine. The project was created some time ago and was waiting for its turn The steam locomotive together with the tender was developed on the basis of the original construction plans and I hope it will stay as faithfully as possible by me mapped in a cardboard model enriched with laser cut elements and some 3D printed elements. I do not know what but it will turn out in the wash. It will be a long relationship for the patient I start the construction from the tender as I have lasers for it. It is a tender with the German designation K4T32 on P.K.P. it was called 32D43 Technical data of the steam locomotive Standardized DRG 52 series with a European standard gauge 1435 mm gauge The manufacturer is different LOFAG, Vienna, Henschel, Kassel (Henschel Flugzeugwerke AG), Schwartzkopff, Berlin, Krauss-Maffei, Borsig, Borsig-Rheinmetall AG, Düsseldorf in Siemianowice, Borsig Lokomotivwerke Hennigsdorf, Borsig Werke Breslau-Hundsfeld Werke, Elblichu-Maschinen Wrocław, Schwartzkopff, Bahnbedarfs AG (MBA) Orenstein & Koppel, Babelsberg Poznań H. At the beginning, the frames are reinforced with inserts, something like underlining in ships. As for beer cardboard, I recommend a better gray one. I had to replace it with a gray one because the inserts were bending due to stress. Reinforced with CA glue and primed and polished.
I also started to cut out small nuggets like cabinets and stiffening the carbon box. The time will come for the veneer, let the skeleton rest, which would eliminate the collapse of the inserts. |

I am also very happy to follow you!! Very interesting model.
You have a 3D printer to make the pieces to be made with this technique? Or you will use a printing service?

Hello
I began to cover the surface with cardboard of tendr's skeleton. Looks like the font is too big so it goes to fix. I will also have to divide the parts for covering the surface of the waterbox roller differently. I also made a toolbox on the back of the tender. As of today, without doors, steps and reflectors to be made in future. Additionally, I made a water inlet and a desilter with a supply hose valve Didibuch, Whulsey, Enrico, Becky thanks for good words Enrico i have a 3D printer i try to use in some cases a resin parts like like valves. whells, couplings etc. |
