Angraf PU 29

I was looking for a 'side-build' and this was somewhere in my stack...
There are a couple of projects that will have my first interest ( Ken's Blackbird and Ron's B17) but I started this one anyway, it will probably take a year or two to finish this 7298 piece, 57 page ,1 meter, or 3 feet monster , but to make my life a bit easier I got all the extra lasercut parts.I even got all the nuts from Avantcard ( thats 3000nuts) Its the first time I use lasercut parts, but sofar they look very nice to me, specialy the numbershields and runningboards
My main interest nowadays is planes , but some 40 years ago I spend my vacations chasing the last in service steamengines in Germany with a photocamera, so there is an old connection, and I only live a mile away from the railwaymuseum that has a couple of real and still working steamengines..
First cuts...

That is one impressive collection of parts. I look forward to seeing this come together. I was just looking at a Modelik narrow gauge kit with laser parts today myself. Too many other things on the go at the moment though.

In this case I can deduct the 3000 from the 7298, leaves only 4298 ..:D:D

I really like the locomotive kits and I look forward to watching your progress! Someday I'll try one myself myself.

Today I worked on the main structure , placing a zillion nuts, and colored them with my airbrush, works quickly and looks good, also the edge coloring can be done with it ..

Looks real good but, you might want to keep it away from squirrels.
