Looking good so far Steve....... I'd love to try the beta build when you've got a part to make, if you tell me where they are to be found ..... or parhaps you could email them to me off forum?......

Sure, I'll shoot (no pun intended) the piece to you in an email. I suspect that before the day is out I should have something I can almost call a paper model.

I only have one problem at the moment...how can I make sure the dimensions of the butt of rifle are the same as the real one when I print it out?

I have to 2nd that, on the wood. That's really awesome. Do you think, that maybe, after this, you could make a 1894 Win. in 30-30? (some people are just never satisfied)

We'll see...I'm not saying it's supposed to go like gangbusters, but there is a lot involved in making models. If I compare the '73 to the '94 and find that I could probably just modify some parts to sort of "bring it up to date" I will.

The wood that's on that piece is the actual wood from my reference photo, so that works out well

I have officially started the next section of the rifle, which you can see here:
