Hi guys, here is another progress report. I added dials to the dash, the steering wheel, the stick, and the top in its down position. As I said before, I'm going to make an option for the top in the up position if the builder so chooses.

Thank you Jeff. My modeling doesn't usually go so well.....

I can build paper models - I can re-paint originals - I can re-scale...... but the one thing i really would love to be able to do {apart from finishing my B-52 } is get into this designers world of yours... you are so freakin quick i am in awe of your talent. You design like it's second nature to you. I soooo look forward to seeing this baby come together. I think i've said this to you before... and i aint afraid to say it again.... lol thanks Peter!

Ok...another update. I started work on the whole bumper-axel area as you can see by the picture and I designed the top up option.

Great quick work on the design. Are you using 3ds max? It looks like it, except for the black background.

No, I'm using Metasequoia LE. I have used a whole bunch of 3d programs in the past, but I have never used 3dsmax. Is it any simpler than Metasequoia or is it about the same? (if you have used Metasequoia)

Wow, great progress! For some reason I keep thinking of Colonel Klink and General Burkhauser. Found some pics.

I havnt used metasequoia, 3ds max is simple to me, but ive been using it for about 9 years lol. You can download a 30 day trial from the Autodesk website, It comes with alot of tutorials and such, but after that costs $3500 so maybe not the most econimcal choice, especially as you are already doing quite well in Meta.

Here is another progress report, and a question (some may consider it stupid).

I have added alot more of the details, I believe that I am nearing the end of the modeling process.

and now the question: do you guys want this model to have the Nazi swastika on it (for historical purposes) or would you choose no flags at all? The only reason I ask is because, well, Hitler was evil.

The Historians here will no doubt give you there answer shortly - what ever you go with will be fine by me - Hitler's been and gone, but the memories live on.... unfortunately. By the way Steve... can you pop round and show me how this design lark works out She looks magnificent.... even in those colours The skins should really see this one come up a real beauty.
