Battlefox Models: Me 109 F

I thought I'd do a quick re-colour of my Me 109.

As it is currently in a "Tunisia 1943" look it shouldn't take much to make it into a Hans-Joachim Marseille, "The Star of Africa" version.

Research has left me with two questions.

• The victories painted on the tail. Are they on both side or the port side only?
• The upper camo' colour could either be a yellow sand or a brown sand. Any idea which he used? From the time scale I'd say he had the yellow sand as this was used in the earlier part of the war.

Just my guess, but kills are painted only on the left side of the plane.
The side from which the pilot enters and is always photographed.

The colouring looks more sand yellow than sand brown, certainly on the painting diagram.

Kill markings on the left, (port side), seem to be every ones opinion.

The emblem on the front is not on my source drawing so I may cut n paste that in.
