Murphs RV6 Ripple
Is there any air frame that does not look good in the "Raspberry Ripple" scheme? Thought it would be fun to do another simple recolour on Aaron's RV6. As indicated in the info: This scheme imagines an RV6 acquired for the RAE for transition-to-tailwheel training.

That does open up a lot of possibilities for repaints. It seems like every private plane that even remotely resembles a military plane (has wings, a fuselage, etc) usually ends up in a Thunderbirds or Blue Angels scheme.

Thunderbird or Blue Angel not likely from me. Snowbird - why not, of course .

I'm sure it would look good painted up like Thunderbird 1 or 2.

Finally got a few minutes to mount the RV6 Ripple into the Universal Fitting and Mounting Jig to get the landing gear legs on. Just a few more pieces and it will be done.

John,
She's got great looking legs. Nice work (repaint and build). You gotta love Lego. We still have a huge box of it in the basement. Gary
