I suppose you could just do the very end of the tail and mount it on the opposite side of the wall. It would make a great conversation piece.

I love this plane and there is no better model of it than the one you are going to re-create. I will follow your efforts with amazement I'm sure. I'm already thinking of how to explain this puppy to my wife.
