BTW, are there any recommendations for the weight of cardstock to use for the full-scale and various scaled down builds?

The scale of the original model is 1/15. The new digital version also has instructions to print at 1/24, 1/32. 1/33 and 1/48 scales.

Yes, on page #7 of the instruction book you find the recommended weight: 220gsm (or 60 lb) cardstock. Any cardstock of thickness around 0.25mm or 0.22mm thickness will be fine

Formula: 1 lb. of Text paper = 1.48 gsm. Multiply each pound of text paper by 1.48. 1 lb. of Cover paper = 2.708 gsm. Multiply each pound of cover paper by 2.708. Example: 80 lb. text = 118.4 gsm 80 lb. cover = 216.64 gsm

Ah, but 58# Bond is 216 gsm and measures 0.234 mm.
Close enough for horseshoes and hand grenades.
