Matt77, such beautiful work. The colors are so vivid and yet you still have weathering. I'm sure you have said before in another thread what programs you use when doing your repaints, but, would you please state again? Will this be available through Ecardmodels when it is finished?

Burning Beard; what an eye!!! I thought it was beautiful as first shown, but when I looked at the images after your comments all I could think was "How could he see that?" But, you're right on. And Matt77 nailed it. WOW, WOW, WOW!

To all the contributors on this forum, Thanks for the education. There is so much here, so much to learn.

Not to take anything away from the subject, but I have done a couple of repaints for Over Flanders Fields, and a couple repaints of paper models and have come up against the Lozenge Camo on occasion.

This particular repaint is gonna be beautiful.

Beautiful artwork. The stitching and break in the lozenge camo pattern was a great suggestion and improvement (as was correcting the orientation of the monogram). This is such a beautiful piece of 2D art it almost seems sacrilegious to chop it up, but in our hobby that can't be helped.

Fokker d.VII (Early) 258/18 Lt.Fiedrich Friedrichs

The first models of the D.III had a different cowling of the engine than the successors, and, the exhaust pipes protrude from a hole in the right carenture.

This is the plane 258/18 of Lt.Fiedrich Friedrichs.
It featured a streaky camouflage fabric e the fabric of the upper wing, at the top, was painted in yellow.
The Greek crosses had been covered with gray paint and, above, had been repainted the new Latin cross (proovvisoria)
nordfriesland flagge.
On the fabric of the fuselage shows the symbol of the Nordfriesland

Hi Matt,

I really like your re-paints, they are some of the best around. I have purchased most of the models you sell on eCardmodels. I just found this thread with the Fokker and am really impressed. Will you be selling this one also? I'd love to buy it.

George,

Do you know if this model was published? Under what name does Matt77 go on ecardmodels?

Thanks, Texman. Evidently the D.VII was not published.

The work kept me away from the papermodels, but, soon, I will publish many re-colored, including this Fokker of Friedrichs, and also my models..
