Fitter's repaint 1/33, Fokker D.VII(F)

Today I started to paint the Fokker D.VII (Fokker built).

After a long selection,
I chose an aircraft of Jasta 10, Leutnant Arthur Laumann.

Fitter's repaint 1/33, Fokker D.VII(F)-3lauar0p.jpg

These are the first drafts of the model:

The monogram "A-L" is backwards

I have built this kit, I didn't like the "chin". I suggest that you lose the hairlines between the lozenges, the fabric didn't have them. Also, on the bottom you can break the fabric at the stitch lines so they look like two different pieces. I like the shading on the metal and seat looks really comfy .

For what my two cents are worth....

WOW!!!

That is a great paint job! Excellent attention to detail and observation of weathering. I really look forward to seeing this kit come together.

That's great, Matt. It would take an enlagement to 1:16 and still be 300 dpi.
