Aaron's T-28 Trojan repaints

Aaron has hinted that his next competition might be a contest on recoloring his T-28 Trojan. I'm probably jumping the gun, but............

I've been waiting a long time for this plane to be designed in paper so I'm working on some repaints that I have always wanted..........

I wanted to get these out here before anyone started working on their repaints so no one would accidentally make duplicates........... not that mine would be better, I just didn't want anyone to spend time on repainting not knowing there might be a version already out.
If anyone does want to duplicate a repaint at least they will know about mine......... anyway

I'm working on several and this is just the first that I have finished (barring a beta build finding any errors )

I will be posting copies of the others I'm working on.........next will be a U.S. Army T-28B Trojan

If Aaron allows it I will send them to him to post on his website and maybe even put them in the download section here, if he doesn't want to use up space on his site AND if he will allow it.

addendum: My repaints will be in Vector format, the samples here are jpegs and are not as sharp as the original repaints.......... IJS

Great job John. I look forward to your repaints. Is it possible to get the svg files, I wouldn't mind trying my hand at a few What If repaints?

Thanks,
Gary

Nice work on the T-28 repaint. I also really like the illustration drawings that you did for this model.

Thanks Curt........... but it was the other way around. I had already drawn these and Aaron asked to use them..........

I have always like this big radial engined monster......... I'm just glad to have one in paper to work with.

I am almost done with the beta of this, just need the wings and (stupid) landing gear. I hate landing gear.

So far this bird is beautiful, all lines match up great, it isn't to small or to big, it is perfect.

Canadian Livery

Hi Gary. I have a couple more photos (attached). I am going to try to track down the owner of that time to see if I can get more photos. Though the RCN never did use the T-28, this was a private T-28 that flew with this "what-if" scheme. I guess technically the model would not be a "what-if" if it models an actual aircraft.

Thanks for considering this for me .

Regards,
John
