RAF No. 208 Squadron
I need some help locating a good enough copy of the tail badge on No. 208 Squadrons BAe Hawks.............anyone know where I can find one......see pic below.
Also know as the unofficial 'winged eye' badge.......according to the RAF website. |

Found a patch.........also learned it was called the "Flying Shufti"

Thanks Doug.......... I really can not believe there is nothing on the net about this. I'm going to check flickr out now to see if someone has taken a close up of the tail (fingers crossed).

Got it drawn.............here is the page with it on the tail
(in case anyone is interested) I may still play around with it if I find any high detailed pics.......it's kinda cartoon-ish now, but it's better than not having anything at all!!!! |
