A-7D Corsair II redisign and recolor

OK........ with the crash and loss of page 1 I got tired of gray & white so I started recoloring SEA Camo also and will start modding Roman's A-7E into a "D" model. So I'm starting a A-7D Corsair II thread to keep the Navy and Air Force from fighting! I'll keep going on the "E" and work on this one as I get bored or aggravated at it.

Here is the first page with the camo (no test build to check for alignment yet) and I've started modding it into a D Model........removed the Navy IFR probe and corrected some panel lines......... still much, much more to do.

I figure with the SEA Camo theme I should be able to do up a couple of USAF Nam birds..........request will be considered as I haven't totally made up my mind which one(s) I'll do. Keep in mind that GPM has one and I really don't want to replicate that one.

Anyway I just wanted to get some feedback, comments and ideas........so fire away.

Cool

John

GPM did a good job with the coloring/ rendering of the Corsair 2 in SE colors. A re do may not be the best way to go unless you plan to out do what they did ( I did build their version and really liked it ).

How about 2 tone grey or green such as the Air National Guard?

Issac - I'm not sure I can out do them, but I did want to do a Nam bird so the SEA Camo scheme was a must......... (maybe the pic below)

Two tone green grey bird will happen.........

Raja - I'm not saying "No", but I would need lots of time, great pictures, really great close up pictures, and dedicated beta builder(s)

Ray - I want to do a shark mouth bird, so if you have a particular one give pics. See above post to Raja for the Bicentennial Bird.........

I also plan on doing a Hellenic Air Force bird and this camo scheme will work on the E model.

started on the Molar Marauder, but I think the Green is too dark. It hides the panel lines and stenciling.........
