New helicopters!

Just uploaded over 10 recolors into Philippine aircraft which include:

1) Updated Bruno V's UH-1D Iroquois in 1:100 olive drab 3 1990s-2000s PAF

2) Bruno V's UH-1H Iroquois in 1:100 olive drab 3 1960s-1980s PAF

3) Roy F's Bo-105CB in 1:72 4 1970s-2000s PAF, PN

4) Aero Asahi's HH-52 Seaguard in 1:100 2 ASR schemes 1960s-1980s PAF

5) Aero Asahi's AS350B Ecureuil in 1:100 1990s-2000s 2 PNP

6) Aero Asahi's AS350B Ecureuil in 1:100 1990s-2000s ABS-CBN

7) Aero Asahi's Bell 206B2 Jetranger II in 1:100 4 1970s-2000s (bonus!)

8) Bruno V's SA316B Alouette III in 1:72 2 1960s-1980s

9) PRModels' MD500E/MD520MG Defender in 1:72 4 1990s-2000s PAF

10) PRModels' Mi-24 Hind-A in 1:100 2 1970s-1990s SAF

Originally planned to release 8 helicopters but it ballooned to 10, not including the variant liveries that bring it up to 27! For some models my request for permission to share went unanswered, but I'm sharing these anyway under fair use with full attribution.

Rich (and others with similar vision/coordination problems), there's a number of 1:72 models included, so enjoy!

EDIT: Of course, only after the moderators approve the files - uploaded just minutes ago.

Now fixed, thanks Carlos! My slow internet connections made getting timed out of Papermodelers happen often. I did wonder why nobody was downloading.

And by the way, apologies to the moderators - I think I was driving up the view counts for my user page by checking the download numbers without logging in first.

ABS-CBN AS350B file fixed and more

Heads up for people who downloaded the ABS-CBN AS350B - I found a few small errors like the front notch at the base of the tailfin and fixed them. This was because I was editing some liveries from new pictures and decided to add 2 more.

Apparently the stripes are a typical Eurocopter scheme and only the colors are unique to ABS-CBN. The minimalist white scheme was dead easy so it got added.

Still no luck finding pictures of Philippine registered MD500D or older Hughes 369, any ideas where to look online?

C-45 testbuilders?

Pablo's now too busy to continue with the test build of the C-45, so could I have other volunteers? I don't want to release this prematurely as the substitute flat wrap windscreen really needs to be tested for fit.

Pablo got as far as showing me the first set of windscreens I supplied were all too small, and I can forward our build guide suggestions to the next volunteer.

I still do not have access to a printer, so I can't do this myself.

This update is a recolor of Chaiwat's 1:200 C-45 Expeditor as a 1941 Philippine Air Lines Beech Model 18 airliner. Red overall with with gold Beech speedbird stripes and white registration numbers. I erased the starboard door and added landing gear.

Chaiwat builds his models with transparent canopies so this model has a big hole in the cockpit. I found a flat wrap windscreen pattern from a balsa model plan and put 4 different windscreen sizes for the test builder to figure out which one (or none) fits best, add your own tabs.

Working scale was meant to be 1:100 but if the Powerpoint ruler is correct the wingspan is about 7.5" when it should be 5.72" (so about 1:76).

Any takers? Send a private message with your email address and I'll send you the PDF. Also working on a generic USAF C-45 in olive and gray.

You should check the L-4J download. The file is missing.
