I think 1/72 scale is most impressive, and it's easier for a builder to print out a smaller scale if desired rather then enlarge a file print out. So I would leave the scale as it is. I print out the files at 1/100 scale if I'm making someone else a model for their desk or shelf. Leave 1/144 scale for the Airbus 380 and Boeing 747.

I agree with the 1/72, however I would prefer the A380, DC-10, B747 sized aircraft at 1/100.

It's a lot easier to size down (1/100 to 1/144), than it is to size up (1/144 to 1/100). You have to rearrange parts on different pages when you size up.

That's my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Gary

I agree with Gary,
It's easier to reduce the scale than sizing it up.
I've decided to build my models at 1/100 scale, if the scale is 1/72 for example, I will be able to reduce it, but for some models like Canon's airliners (B747, B777 or even A340) are at 1/120 and 1/144, ans I will never be able to build them at my scale.
Best regards,
Ronan

OK I was just curious about the scale..........I prefer 1/72 because of age and fat fingers. But it seems that 1/100 and 1/144 are more the norm for airliners.

I plan on continuing the 1/72 scale so I can build and will not post up any other scales for downloads

I have uploaded my SilkAir A320-232 repaint and it's pending approval. It is exam period now so i'll be taking a break from papercraft and do my papers. When I come back, i'll be (attempt in) doing the Scoot A320 repaint since it's one of my local carriers.

I have received takeoff clearance from croden to use the fonts from his Scoot Boeing 777-200 since I cant find any good ones online.
