juan angel 747 - personally I prefer to build at a larger scale. It really is up to the individual....... 1/100 seems to be very popular , but I like 1/72 because it's easier for me to build.

Yes you can request a recolor in this thread, and if it is something I would like to do I'll do it.........that being said I like the Viva Colombia A320 scheme and may give it a go. Right now the NEOs are not in the plans by me.

sfw - Thanks for the kind words.......... I do have plans to try and do landing gear, I just haven't had the time. I do have a stand that comes with the recolors so the models can be displayed on it.
As far as the shiny models...... those that Knife builds are done with photo paper I do believe.

Hello John.
I hope your health will soon be back as strong as a rock.
I have been reading the whole thread, and have been totally amazed with your work.
I am a total fan of 1/72, but never attempted anything this big!
I am also from Colombia as Juan Angel 747, and would love to see the Avianca's 320 fllet in all it's glory.
Unlike Juan Angel, I grew up with the Red livery from the 70s, and think it is way more attractive.
Looking at Knife's models, I see the advantages of using Photo paper, and the dark scheme of Jet Blue catches my eye.

I would agree that the New Zealand dark livery is way more alluring than the white one.
Best regards and quick recovery.

good that good to meet someone from Colombia and that he likes aviation and the best thing is that he understands the same nationalist sense that a lot of amateurs of aviation like me here in Colombia because it feels something chevere

chevere = great or cool

Good start John. Makes me want to see what the completed model will look like.
