Of course it can't be brief, because it's target trunk.

That's enough
Ok, enough to beta the repaint. To the studio setup tomorrow for the Murph's website photos if Aaron wants it. Thanks for all the encouraging comments.

He asks if I want a bright yellow stripey airplane... Do I even need to answer?

Hi All,
And hi, yukonjohn. Very nice execution on the bumblebee Ventura. In the past, I’ve had some trouble with oval cross section noses like the one on your Ventura. You nailed it. I have one recommendation if it’s not too late to send a note to Aaron. The inside quarters of the forward engine nacelles show a lot of yellow. I can speak from experience when it comes to operating small boats on our Minnesota lakes...sun bouncing off a white deck can be bothersome, sun reflected from a yellow deck is absolutely blinding. Of course, the available research material will have the final say, but it was just a thought. I just reread this thread and noticed that the film, “Captains of the Clouds” has not been mentioned yet. For those looking for wonderful color footage of Canadian bush and military flying in the early war years, (1942), there is no better film. Binge watch that with the 1941 Errol Flynn vehicle, “Dive Bomber” and you’ll have colorful dreams for sure, you betcha! Score and fold, Thumb Dog |

Really beautiful!
That high-visibility color scheme really brings out the graceful shape of the airplane. Don |
