DC-10-30F recolour

A simple recolour of Aaron's DC-10.

McDonnell-Douglas DC-10 Serial 46949 was built in 1974 with test registration N54643. She joined the British Caledonian fleet as G-BEBL in 1977. After conversion to a DC-10-30F freighter in 2001, she was added to the Kelowna Flightcraft fleet as C-GKFB in 2008. She was put into storage in 2014 and scrapped in 2016.

Regards,
John

Great start, John. I'm assuming that you started with Aaron's DC-10. I've seen that aircraft when I was visiting my mom in the Okanagan valley.

Thanks,
Gary

Excellent recolor and really good pictures.I was wondering how did tail engine fit on Murphs DC-10-now I know

I see FedEx DC-10s (or MD-11?) parked of flying around YYZ at times,I might have seen Purolator one,I just can't recall it.Tall plane, looks much taller than others around it.

Thanks guys. This is as far as I expect to take it. Just wanted to make sure everything lined up properly. Likely will not be back to building until after Christmas. If someone wants to build the complete model, I am sure Aaron will appreciate the pictures.

Finally got some wings and engines onto the Kelowna Flightcraft DC-10. Not the cleanest build, but I think you get the idea. File sent to Aaron with a few minor cleanups.

The DC-10 ranks high on my list of favourite Murph's Models. Imposing yet clean lines.

Simple scheme but I like it!
