DHC-3 Otter RCAF early Rescue

Jim Gausman very kindly sent me a b&w of his DHC-3 Otter to repaint into some RCAF schemes. The early RCAF Rescue scheme is first.

Regards,
John

Great re-paint, John. A really nice looking bird.

I've never seen Otter in those colors-very good looking repaint.

Hopefully someday we will see larger version of Otter to match Twin Otter and Caribou.

De Havilland made some pretty good planes. They still do.

Thanks all. The lighting and the printing are a bit off. The overall colour is aluminum and the finalized pdf has the stripe a bit more orange. Inspired by this photo:

Aargh. Please do not use my photos as directions for building Jim's Otter. I just realized I have the exhaust enclosures too far forward on the nose. Jim's design work is better than my build. Sorry about that.

Thanks John! I have this in my build queue. I am also planning on building the UN Otter that you repainted.

Ring of Otters

John, I built your Canadian Pacific Otter, your United Nations Otter, and your RCAF Rescue Otter. I also built 7 more liveries. I took them out on my local lake to photo them.
