Puzzle cube
Hi All
While I am still busy working on the V12 Engine which I am still busy building all the parts for the cylinder head I have decieded something fun, and take a few days break in the building of the engine. I have gone and designed a puzzle cube, and get it to work out like the plastic one's that are out there. Progress so far: And the artworks at the moment, I have not yet worked in assembly gaps needed for the model to work correctly yet, but this is starting point at least. More to follow as I play with this new idea. R |

This looks like it would be frustrating but fun to figure out how to put together!

Well the model is finally complete, and I have uploaded it to the downloads section, All that is needed is for it to be approved and then one can start building.
The download version I have made the text for the assembling of the part mush smaller and a bit of tidy up as well. I have aslo added how to the assemble the cube in the download as well. I have setup a A4 and a LTR files for one to choose from. R |

I printed them on colored card stock. Saves lots-o-ink.
Found a large package of 12" x 12" at a yard sale a few years ago and got it for $1.00 US.

Spot on Doug, that was the idea from the start, I brought a colour pack of paper from a stationery shop that only had 5 colours and I added 1 white page to the mix and there it is, and the best part is that it is up to who ever builds it can select what ever paper want.
One other reason for not using ink for setting the colours was that innk can and does change paper in that of it warps, and just have paterns cuts that problem out. R |
